The 2011 Tyneside Stages Rally, sponsored by Wilkinson Maintenance
The 2010 Tyneside Stages Rally generated a huge amount of publicity when it was won outright by Oxfordshire driver Simon Mauger in his two-wheel drive Ford Escort MkII. In these days of four-wheel drive turbo-charged machinery, this was, indeed, a rare occurrence and all eyes will be on him as he attempts to make it back-to-back wins this time.
The 2011 Tyneside Stages Rally, sponsored by Wilkinson Maintenance, takes place on Sunday 31st July and regulations/entry forms are now available to download from the event website :
The route of the rally consists of ninety miles of special stages on the Otterburn Military Ranges, contained in 9 special stages, with a slow-speed recce available for competitors on the Saturday afternoon. Scrutineering and signing-on will be in the village of Otterburn itself.
December 2009 - Membership of the ECA
We are now a registered member of the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA), the UK's largest and leading trade association representing electrical, electronic, installation engineering and building services companies.
The technical assessment undergone means we are able to undertake installation, inspection & testing and maintenance of electrical installations to BS7671 in industrial and commercial premises.
The ECA works closely with government and key national bodies to improve industry standards and procedures. Its comprehensive, progressive and innovative services are highly respected and renowned throughout the industry.
October 2009 - Elecsa Approval
We have passed the Elecsa approval process to become Part P registered, demonstrating our electrical competency.
We can now install electrical installations in domestic properties in accordance with BS7671:2008 Requirements for Electrical Installations.
August 2009 - CHAS Accreditation
We received CHAS (the Contractors Health and Safety Scheme) accreditation.
CHAS are a market leader for Health and Safety pre-qualification in the UK. They are trusted by many organisations looking for competent suppliers, including local authorities.
July 2009 - NVQ success
All of our operatives are now qualified to NVQ level 2 or above.
June 2009 - CSCS Commitment
We have been awarded the Construction Skills Gold Certificate of Commitment, as more than 75% of our workforce has been registered under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
This means our operatives hold a CSCS card, demonstrating their health and safety competence.
May 2009 - Altius Assured Vendor Status Achieved
We have achieved Altius Assured Vendor status in the areas of Risk Management, Commercial Viability and Corporate Social Responsibility. Altius Vendor Assessment provides an efficient, effective and robust service undertaking assessments of suppliers and contractors, calling on the benefit of over 70 years of combined Supplier Management and Assessment experience.
September 2008 - Construction Skills Pledge Taken
